Krishna Kshetra Swami met Srila Prabhupada in Paris in the summer of 1972 and was initiated at that time. He served in the preaching mission in Europe for 23 years, doing mainly book distribution, nama-hatta, and public programs, as well as deity worship. He worked on the compilation of the first edition of Pancaratra Pradipa Volume One and Supplement in 1995. Soon thereafter he was appointed as the first GBC minister for Deity Worship, taking initial steps to develop a network of guidance and oversight for ISKCON temple worship programs. In 1995, he resumed his formal academic studies, completing two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. degree, and published several academic and devotional publications. Krishna Kshetra Swami is presently Dean of Studies at Bhaktivedanta College; a research fellow of the OCHS; a fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics; an associate member of the GBC Shastra Advisory Council; a member of the BBT Editorial Review Board; a member of the ISKCON Communications Journal advisory board; and a member of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre (Kolkata and Mumbai) advisory board. In 2014 Krishna Kshetra Swami accepted the vows of the sannyasa order.
